Botanical Evolutionary Processes

Introduction Many scientists have discussed many theories of evolution. It was a scientific competition between scientists to proof the accuracy of their theories and hypothesis. As a result of these theories, understanding of the principles that are related to microevolution, natural selection, adaptation within the species, gene flow and genetic drift, isolation, and hybridization, will… Continue reading Botanical Evolutionary Processes

Vegetative Anatomy and Physiology

Introduction Plant physiology is the most important part of botany as it helps to understand how the plant grows up and how it reproduces. The functions of plant organs determine how plant adapts to different habitats, how plant conduct metabolic processes to produce energy, and how this energy transfers. The plant has adaptive strategies that… Continue reading Vegetative Anatomy and Physiology

Introduction to Botany

Introduction Botany is the science of plant. Studying plant classification principals and how they related to the evolutionary process of the plant is the first step in order to establish strategies for plant conservation. The molecular properties of plant life play a vital role in plant survival and evolution. They help plant to resist the… Continue reading Introduction to Botany

Human Interfere With Plants

Introduction Human interference with the plant is an ancient habit that human practice. Plant domestication timeline shows that human did significant efforts to improve crops. Breeders used pre-scientific and scientific techniques. The scientific methods evolved and breeders use new tools to map thousands of gene. They also invented strategies to screen large populations of plants.… Continue reading Human Interfere With Plants

Ocean Formation

The ocean covers about 71 % of the Earth’s surface (NOAA, 2014). This enormous area of water is formed due to some geological processes in the initial stage of the Earth formation. We have to study Earth composition to understand how land masses rose and what the ocean floor is. Some geological processes such as continental draft and plate tectonics can be considered the cause of the formation of the ocean basin and some oceanic features. In task 2, I discuss the effect of climate change is crucial to determine sea levels. In order to protect the marine environment and control, global warming several strategies are addressed and data evaluated.

Extreme Environments

Introduction Extreme environments are crucial, as well as standard environments, to balance the life on Earth. Studying the formation, species, zonation, diversity and threats facing Coral reefs and Mangrove is necessary to establish adaptive strategies to conserve extreme environments. Mangrove forests have their own adaptive strategies which help them to survive in this hard environment.… Continue reading Extreme Environments

Conservation of Resources

Energy is one of the most significant demands of our life. Without energy human hardly can perform his works and tasks. The different resources of energy give a human chance to improve his lifestyle. Despite some non-renewables resources are depleting, new renewable energy technologies are available now to give choices to the human to balance his demand. Without proper and efficient monitoring and conservation programs, controlling resource can be challenging.
